Kanye, a record player and some headphones. That’s how to do a high school physics exam.

Or at least it was for a Washington state student, whose teacher Eric Saueracker had banned cell phones to prevent cheating during a midterm test. As an alternative, a student set up his own, analog music situation and aced the exam.

"Students are taking their Physics Midterm exam today. I said no cell phones, not even for music since they could be used to cheat," Saueracker tweeted with photos that went viral. "This student brought in a record player and is bumping Kanye in his headphones right now."

The photo that Sauracker posted included other students, attentively scribbling equations behind mock folder walls (“Eyes on your own paper!” was probably heard). The vinyl-toting student, quietly defiant, was listening to Kanye's "College Dropout." How things change, till they don’t.
