Master & Dynamic Releases Updated Cables For Post-Headphone Jack Phones
By Natalie Daher
Good news for some latest-version smartphone users who also own Master & Dynamic wired headphones: you can do both.
The New-York based audio company released lightning cables on April 24, with a temporary half-off sale until April 29. The cables cost $49 for Android's USB-C and $69 for Apple's lightning jack.
As new smartphones from Apple and Google are released without traditional headphone jacks, the cables are designed to prolong the life of Master & Dynamic wired headphones. The cables are compatible with MH40 Over-Ear and MH30 On-Ears.
The cables feature “the same heavy duty woven fabric” of all Master & Dynamic’s other cables, according to a release. Available colors include silver and black. The cables also can convert digital-to-analog sound to capture “the exceptional detail of well recorded music,” the release says.
