A. The information that QUIDDITY collects
The use of the Website does not require You to register or provide QUIDDITY with personal data – but QUIDDITY’s servers may collect information about You and your online behaviour, as you utilise the Service. That information can include:
• your location; • a date/time stamp; • your IP address; • your activity on the Website, including the pages visited by you, when visited, and the content viewed; • your interactions with email and push messaging; • details of your interactions with us, such as the date, time and reason for contacting us, transcripts of conversations, and if you call us, your phone number and call recordings.
It can also include those other sites, destinations or services (or other clickstream data) derived from your use of the Service, the referrer URL (website containing the link through which You arrived at the Website) as well as details about the device used by You to access the Website – such as the model, setting and its specifications.
That information is collected and analyzed for the purpose of enabling an optimized presentation of the information, content selection, algorithmic recommendations, and for the purpose of statistical analysis. QUIDDITY does not associate that information with a specific natural person, and would not identify You directly on the basis of such information. However, it is technically possible, with the assistance of your access provider and for a certain time, to identify the owner of the internet connection through which You access the Website, on the basis of the communicated IP address. Your access provider can inform You of the length of time they store and use associated IP addresses.
B. Third party sites
The Service includes links to third party websites, including e-commerce sites. QUIDDITY has no control or influence over whether any external website observes the relevant data protection rules. QUIDDITY cannot accept and hereby disclaims responsibility for third party content, which is made available via links, and does not adopt their content as its own.
QUIDDITY reserves the right to use, transfer, sell, and share aggregated, anonymous data about the Website and/or Service users as a group or partial groups for any lawful business purpose, including for the analysis of usage trends, and seeking compatible clients and customers and other commercial reasons.
QUIDDITY may grant third parties access to its servers and database for the purpose of ancillary services, such as technical maintenance, market research, or otherwise, but only for the purpose of and to the extent necessary to provide those services.
QUIDDITY may also provide access to its database in order to cooperate with official investigations or legal proceedings initiated by governmental and/or law enforcement officials, as well as private parties, including, for example, in response to subpoenas, search warrants, court orders, or other legal process.
In addition, QUIDDITY reserves the right to use the information QUIDDITY collects about your computer, mobile or other device (including its geographic location), which may at times be able to identify You, for any lawful business purpose, including without limitation to help diagnose problems with our servers, to gather broad demographic information, analyze trends, track users’ movements around the Service, and to otherwise administer the Service. Geographic location information about You and/or your computer, mobile or other device may specifically be used to show You content and sponsored messaging based on geographic location.
QUIDDITY cannot guarantee the security of the information You send or the security of its servers, networks or databases, and by using the Service You agree to assume all risk in connection with the information sent to or collected by QUIDDITY or on its behalf when You access the Website and/or use the Service. QUIDDITY shall not be responsible for any loss of such information or the consequences thereof.
If You elect to store information where others may access it, QUIDDITY is not responsible for any loss of such information or the consequences thereof.
Should QUIDDITY believe that the security of your information in its possession or control may have been compromised, QUIDDITY may seek to notify You. If notification is appropriate, QUIDDITY may notify You via your computer, mobile or other device.
You have the right to demand information from QUIDDITY, free of charge, as to the personal data QUIDDITY has stored about you, the recipients or categories of recipient to which QUIDDITY has disclosed that data as well as the purpose of storage. Beyond that, You have, where applicable, the right to rectification, blocking or erasure of personal data within the statutory requirements. You can find contact information in the Website’s Imprint.
The Service is not intended for use by children, especially those under age 13. No one under age 13 is allowed to register for the Service or provide any personally identifiable information or use our social, community and public discussion areas, photo and video galleries, bulletin boards, forums, chats, blogs, personal/job search and other classified ads, and elsewhere. Minors between the ages of 13 and 17, inclusive, must get the permission of their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) before accessing and/or using the Website or Service.
If You are a California resident, then the law of that State permits You to request and receive the identity of any third parties to whom QUIDDITY has disclosed personal information within the previous calendar year, along with the type of personal information disclosed, in both cases for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. QUIDDITY does not share your personal information with third parties and is therefore exempt from having to meet this requirement. Questions or Concerns:
